A monumental media sculpture confronting ideas of memory through environmental sampling.
The artwork captures moments in time within the Boston Arts Academy building, and of the people who pass through it. Our piece establishes and explores a memory of this space, recognizing that remembering the past is not fundamentally different than imagining a potential future.

to be installed at the Boston Arts Academy (BAA)
The artwork will consist of networked cameras which capture the interior space. The input from the cameras will be analyzed by a custom algorithm. The altered images will then displayed on the large screen which influences the color and patterns on the custom light fixtures.
Boston, MA
Public art at the new baa
We were asked to consider BAA's four guiding principles: community with social responsibility, diversity with respect, passion with balance, and vision with integrity.
CAMERA/INPUT
We will have three separate cameras to capture movement in the BAA from three different angles.
